My Story
I was in a financial hardship and in need of another means of income that was not going to keep me away from home every night. I already work 40 hours a week and wasn't quite sure what else I could do to help. My friend was a consultant for Scentsy and I fell in love with the product. However, I didnt have the extra monthy at that moment to join, so I just bought the product for myself. I joined Scentsy in February of 2012, with the plan to earn extra money and meet new people. So far my plan has worked. I have met so many people and have made some amazing relationships. Did I earn the extra money, I certainly did. It may not have been a lot at first, but every little bit helped. It allowed me the extra money to pay for gas and groceries, so I didn't have to use my paycheck, I could use that for the bills. After joining in February 2012, I had a goal of going to Disneyland for my first visit. I set a goal to start working my business a little harder. Maybe instead of 1 party a month, I will book 2 a month. However, I really wanted to get a recruit, because I knew that would help me promote to the next level and earn me a higher commission. I got my first recruit in June of 2012 and between the two of us, I was able to promote to Lead Consultant in September 2012. Promoting allowed me to earn more of a commission. The best part, my promotion happened right before my trip to Disneyland. With my commissions, I was bale to pay for my hotel stay. This was just the first goal for me of many. Even if you are not aware of why you would like to join my team, there is always a goal that you are trying to complete. What better way than having a business that can help you achieve that goal, like it did for me.
